Stefan Sagmeister

Stefan Sagmeister is a New York based graphic designer and typographer. I have chosen to look at Sagmeister for my artist research because of the use of his typography. In some of his work he has an image of the environment and then blends his typography into that environment.

In the image you can see how he uses tree branches and leaves to create the word 'Good' and it looks like it is part of the tree. You can also see in the image of the football field how he has made the words 'My life' look like it has been made out of fresh cut grass. 

I find this work really interesting and i would like to attempt to try this for my posters. I think it can have a powerful message if done correctly.
